40 million abortions a year?

If there is a God up there watching us all, i think he would be really pissed. We're screwing around with God 40 million times a year. And that figure is only going to go up.

I'm not so sure how accurate these statistics are, but i got them from here and here.

Whatever it is, thats a shit of load of abortions. So, the question is, should we care? I think we should. Sure, thats easy for me to say as i can AFFORD to say it.
Yes, i can probably AFFORD to take care of a Baby. I'm lucky as i have a stable job and a stable home.

But a lot of people who resort to abortions simply cannot say the same. Its interesting, 78% of all abortions are obtained in developing countries and 22% occur in developed countries.

Then again, a lot of people just don't know better. They have unprotected sex and whoopsie!, "Oh dear, i've been knocked up. Time to see Dr.Abort-my-faetus again". I'd like to find a statistic that delves further into these abortion rates, and find out if the majority is caused by ignorant stupid people.
