I don't like where we're heading

Gosh, where do i begin. First bloggers are being threatened. Some even got slammed in jail and their computers confiscated. And now, i am just buzzing with "ecstasy" as i read todays edition of The Star.

Our beloved PM, reminds us all not to mock any religion. How right you are sir! Religion is sacred to us all, and is something that should never be controlled or influenced by us limited beings. Religion is the domain of God, and only God himself (or herself?). How we share our experience with God through our religion is our own. Thank you dear PM for reminding us of this!

But wait, then what about Lina Joy? Why can't she be allowed to choose her own religion? Its between her and God, who are we to stand in the way? If ultimately, God decides that she was wrong, then God will do what is necessary. Who are we to take over the decision making process from God?

But wait, what about the demolishing of all the Hindu Temples? Who are we to decide that God does not need to be worshiped at these temples? Who are we, in all the limited wisdom that we have, to decide that Hindu's can live without their Temples, but others need their own 'temples' in every corner of the country?
Phew....i need to fart out loud..because sighing isn't gonna help me release my frustration adequately.

One more thing, what the hell is English Law and since when were we using it? Is that the OTHER law that applies to all us non-muslims? I'm not well versed with our Justice system(maybe i should start now?), but the very notion that we are considering a proposal by Chief Justice Tun Ahmad Fairuz Sheikh Abdul Halim to switch to Syariah Law from English Law just sends shivers up my spine.

Please tell me im just a misinformed brat, but seriously, does this mean that Syariah Law is going to be the ONLY law of the land, that applies to all people, including NON-MUSLIMS?

Phew, needed to let rip another one. Hmm, underwear's gonna be stained from that one.
