Stink-Fist

Something has to change.

Undeniable dilemma.
Boredom's not a burden anyone should bear.
Constant over stimulation numbs me

I think i first heard this song when i was in Form 4. Back then, there used to be a kick ass Rock Show on Radio 4(now known as Traxx FM). Its the first Tool i'd ever heard of also. I loved it like i have loved no other. The guitars, the drums, the way the vocals blends so hypnoticly together, i travel to another world everytime i hear it.

But it was only in college that i truly realised the weird quirkyness of this song. You see, all this time, i had never really paid any attention to the lyrics. Then came along my friend Shine that totally blew away my preconceptions about this song. Suddenly, it wasnt just an angst filled, hardcore emofied song.

It was now, a SICK PERVERTED angst filled hardcore emofied song with a message.

The title itself is the biggest clue. Stinkfist.

Still dont get it?
Finger deep within the borderline

Still oblivious?
Relax, turn around and take my

Confused?
This may hurt a little but it's something you'll get used to.

Don't wanna accept the truth?
I'll, keep, digging till I, feel, something.

How could i have not seen it? This whole song talks about FISTING.

What is fisting you say? Well, let me graphically educate you (WARNING: the graphics linked to below is some serious hardcore shit) :

Hmm. Urgh.

Once you get past the shock, that a song can be written about fisting, you will realise that the song is MORE than just about the technicalities and pleasures (yes, some ppl find it fun to have some one else stick their hands up their ass) of fisting.

Something kinda sad about,
the way that things have come to be.
Desensitized to everything.
What became of subtlety?

Its a frank and honest opinion, about the state of the world right now. De-sensetized is the most appropriate word to describe humanity right now. We OVER-DO things.

We OVER-FUCK.
We OVER-EAT
We OVER-SLEEP
We OVER-SHIT
We OVER-SMOKE
We OVER-DRINK
We fucking over everything.

Over-indulgence has become our favourite past time.
