Malaysia, the country in between Thailand and Singapore

Malaysia Boleh? Uh huh..sure. You must have a big fat bottle of Uncle Jack next to you. Listen folks, give it a few years time, and Malaysia would have dissapeared of the map altogether. Ask any kwailo (or is that spelt gwailo) say in 5 years time where Malaysia is and they'll give you a blank stare and say:

"Malaysia? Isnt that, that weird country in between Thailand and Singapore?"

Think about it dudes and dudets. Thailands is a fueled by an outrageous sex industry, that fuels the whiteman's kinky urges. Then there's Singapore that is quite strangely, known to the whiteman to have amazing food. Plus, its really clean and organized. What place can be better for a white man to get his ass kissed, polished and waxed. What does Malaysia have? Proton? hahaha. Nasi Lemak? yea..lets laugh again.

Ok, enough about my rantings which could be perceived to be ramblings of a ultra racist and get my blog banned.

Actually, i met up with some old Asiaworks friends for lunch. Both of them happen to be working in cyberjaya as well. We talked about our dear ol beloved country and came to the conclusion that unless the baffoons in charge of this country get off their asses and do something to compete in the global economy, Malaysia's gonna be no where soon.

On another note, here in Cyberjaya (an instrument that can help the countries economy if implemented well), a majority of the companies are foreign. We have very few local companies that are doing anything worth mentioning. Also, i hear that theyre gonna shutdown InventQjaya due to some financial scandal. I bet that didnt surprise you in the slightest.
In contrast, India's equivalent of our Cyberjaya is mostly occupied by local Indian companies.

What does Malaysia need to do to produce skilled local workers? Thats easy. Simply improve the education system within Malaysia. Get rid of quota's. I've honestly lost count on the amount of times how someone has met a Malay graduate from a local University who can't speak a word of English.

Ok, im gonna make more comments that can be perceived as racist, but in general, the Malay community is too farking lazy. They need to get off their asses as well and move this country. They also need to be stop being spoonfed. The Malay community arent by nature lazy and stupid. It is the simply a culture they are born too. I believe that the Malays are capable of doing great things, but if only they can break free from the shackles of an overly protective Government. (i can just hear Queen's I want To Break Free playing in the background)

After saying all that, im pretty sure my blog's gonna get banned.

Why should you worry that your blog might get banned?

You're merely stating your opinions, and believe you me... there's more Malays who have the same thoughts than you might think.

vincent: Hmmm, are you a Malay? I bet your real name is Ali or something.. hahah. Just kidding dude.

Lord Apprentice: I agree with you, contrary to the rosy reports which we read in our local newspapers, Malaysia is indeed facing a very uncertain future. The rise of China has left us with two clear choices, either we move up the value chain in the global economy, or we degenerate into another has-been third world country. I know the government is trying to spur our citizens on into more value-added industries such as biotechnologyand ICT, but it's tough when 60% of the country still insists on subsisting on government handouts.

vince: thanks for your awesome and pointless comment. I take serious offence to being called a retard, but only because you didnt mention why im a retard. if you have a point to make, kindly make it. geez.

azmeen: well, i've read recentlythat some blogs were banned in singapore. u'll never know when this itch will come scratching into malaysia.

berdy: as usual, you knowledge of why this country is sucking is so much more enlightened than mine! hehe

Hahah, I don't happen to think our country sucks that bad ler. We do have our good points, its just sad that these good points are lost on the 60% of our population...hahahah.

though i partly agree with your comment about the country leaders needing some changes in some systems and culture, and that of the malay community being lazy, i still have to agree with vincent that you must be some kind of a retard to say that malaysia will disappear from the map altogether. just to look at malaysia from the food or car industry perspective definitely proves that you are short sighted and somewhat naive. there are so many other ways that you can look at in a country and malaysia certainly has good qualities in many of them, even though not all. but then again, which country is perfect anyway. plus, why do you have to judge a country based on what a white man thinks? what about the other people, chinese, indians, arabs, africans, etc? how shallow are you? unless i am wrong, i think that you are the kind of person who likes to whine about almost everything, a pure pesimist who thinks that the grass is always greener on the other side, until you actually get to that side. but once you're there, you'll start saying that the grass is greener on some other side. by the way, singapore, amazing food? what are you? a retard?

The quota could definitely be done without. However, I think there's a lot about Malaysia to be proud of. I love this country so much I don't ever want to leave it for longer than 6 months in a go.

Malaysia rocks. Not being a jingo groupie, but hey, I was born and bred here. Better do my best for the country, and enjoy what's great about it, rather than sit and gripe right?

hey byn!

intersting thoughts. lets see now..

1. dont take everything that was said literally. when i say that we will dissapear off the map, what i mean is that we are going to dissapear of the map of the global economy. geez, the only way i see us completely dissapearing is if some huge ass tsunami comes along....

2. Now, looking at Malaysia from a food and car industry perspective? I wholesomely agree, malaysia has the best food anywhere in the world. I dont have to visit every country in the world to know that. its common knowledge. However, having good food is not going to save our asses. It will just make it bigger. How will having good food bring in more revenue into this country? Other than tourism off course, but people do NOT visit this country to eat food.

As for the state of the national car and other local car, i can only say that these local car manufacturers are doing well locally. Which other country in Asia is the Proton selling like cakes? How does proton expect to compete with the Japanese manufacterers OUTSIDE of malaysia? If this hasnt opened your eyes, pls read another bloggers thoughts on the state of the national car -->

http://hodgeriam.blogspot.com/2005/12/proton-is-best-company-ever.html

3. Yes, no country is perfect, but am i wrong to want my country to try to be? Or should i simply sit down and accept its averageness?

4. I do not judge this country on what the white man thinks. The 'white man' was simply a metaphor for the global economy. Im not going to explain why i chose the white man as the metaphor, thats a whole other conversation. But suffice to say, Malaysia is NOT garnering as much interest from foreign investments as it used to do, say during the early 90's. Nowdays, just open the papers and everything is about India and China. I worry where this country will be in the next 10 years time. Can you honestly say with absolute confidence that Malaysia will be the leaders of South East Asia, let alone Asia in that 10 years? How about 20 years?

5. You;re actually right. I am a pessimist at times. But this country NEEDS more pessimism. We are all too content to just languish around and accept mediocricity as the malaysian way of life.

6. "by the way, singapore, amazing food? what are you? a retard?" No, you're the retard. This is what i wrote. READ AGAIN pls --> Then there's Singapore that is quite strangely, known to the whiteman to have amazing food

And laynie

You;re absolutely RIGHT! We should all do whats right for this country of ours. But to just enjoy whats good about it, seems one sided? Do we just ignore the wats bad about it? And, it might be GOOD now, but what in about 20 years time? Will it be as good as it is for us, as it is for our Children?

Yes, i wholesomely agree. I mean, other than the cleanliness part, we are better than kiasu land.

singapore should be worried about getting wiped off the global economy map.Now that foreign companies desperately trying to out-source to china or india, singapore is losing its edge to compete against cheap labour.that is why they rolled out plans like the casino and the biotechnology research centre, away from the manufacturing, electronics and shipping industries.malaysia and thailand have plans to make a canal ala suez at segenting kra.if materialise, the city state will not be an important stop anymore.and causeway too.what make you think that singapore doesnt want it demolished and rebuilt?think...

::Lord Apprentice:: said...

wow, thats great news. first time i've heard about this canal suez thing. any idea when it will begin operations?
