5.40pm - Do stuff

Since 5.40pm till now, all i've done is do meaningless stuff. Browsed some football news. Chatted online. Hanged with the dad for a while. Mum wasnt too well, she was having a fever but it dissapeared as fast as it appeared.

A friend sent me a link to this girls Blog. She's a singaporean thats current studying in America. Apparently she's spoilt and gets everything she wants. Reading her blog, it seems that she lives in a fantasy world. I guess when you're rich, you can afford to create your own fantasy. Everyone in the pictures look good. Perhaps a little MTV-ish censorship on her own? Anyway, indulge yer curiosity.

I've changed the background to my blog a bit (If you are still seeing the same thing, please visit your nearest eye specialist, or alternatively click the refresh button). Found an excellent site that gives ya free background textures, and they arent the lame ones. Most of the background textures that i found there are pretty cool! Sweet! Because i loved them so much, i put a permanent link to them on my blog links, theres a blue icon somewhere on the left, go check em out.

If you are wondering how to change your background, its pretty simple actually. You just need to edit the html of yer blog template (Oh pls, its just HTML, not rocket science). Basically:

1. Login to yer Blogger dashboard.

2. Click on change settings

3. Click on template

4. Now this is the tricky part.
No blog template is the same. But it is created the same way, using CSS. Just think of CSS as the skeleton of the human body. Everyone has a skeleton, just the stuff around the skeleton is unique. Hope that doesnt confuse you more. So basically, you need to use a little common sense here, and find the bone that controls the background.

For my template, the background was referenced by this line:

background:#483521 url("http://www.blogblog.com/scribe/bg.gif") repeat;

Now, all i did was, change the replace this link --> http://www.blogblog.com/scribe/bg.gif , with this URL --> http://c.1asphost.com/TiCk/background/012.gif.

So now, my background 'bone' looks like this:
