I watched Batman last night (12midnight, Summit THX). Thoroughly enjoyed it. If compared to Spiderman, it is nearly there. But Spiderman was never dark and serious. Batmas was, and is in this movie. Oh man, is it dark and serious. I'm loving it.
This movie brings a return of the true Batman, not that overly colourful fiasco that Joel Schumacher did. Before this movie, i would say that the the first Batman movie was the best, but this tops that....by a LONG LONG way. It is also very realistic. Great job to the screen writer and director.
There arent any elaborate CG shots. There is however, a whole lot of hand-to-hand combat.
