Mon Calamari

well, being a dj was a fun experience indeed. it was last sat 27tn November. didnt have to do much, just sit down and shuffle some music around. I was "very" close to the stage as well, which allowed me a pretty good view of the games and performances, all and all, a good night. Plus i got a few glasses of whisky coke (i swear, it was NOT more than 5 glasses!!!)

food was excellent, i had the seafood platter or something. And why is squid referred to as calamari?

Is this common knowledge? Someone who is looking at the menu, might be fooled into thinking he/she is ordering some expensive exotic dish, but all they will get is a plate of squid. More proof that the world is ending. Lets just call squid squid.

Star Wars fans (such as myself) would be reminded of the Mon Calamari. THey were a species in the Star Wars galaxy, that lived underwater, and looked like squid. How "strange".

After the event, i went with my gf, a friend and another couple down to KL to party. This was around 12am++, needless to say, on a Saturday nite, almost all the cool place were packed. Rum Jungle looks very nice indeed. a very jungly concept. and Huge.

We ended up in a not so jungly place, but does the location really matter when u have your gf, great friends and a bottle of JD with you? The answer is NO you fool. Not to mention a pool table, and this is almost every mans dreams.
