Its official now. I heard it today on Hitz FM at around 9am.
The Killers' new song, When You Were Young, was playing, and one of the lines in the song was :
He doesn't look a thing like Jesus
I couldnt believe what i heard when it came to the word "Jesus". They fracking censored it! You know the Hitz FM style of censorship, which is to just distort that particular part of the the song.
Let me say this again. I cannot fracking believe it. Its like categorizing the word Jesus with other foul words like asshole, fuck, bitch, dick, pussy, shit...and so on and so forth.
Towards the end of the song, that line comes up again, and they censor it again, so i deffinately was not imagining it. Its so utterly tasteless and disrespectful. I still can't believe it.
