We must be getting old. We didnt puke. Not a single person. And we didn't get very wasted. Well, considering there was only 4 bottles of whisky, i guess thats to be expected.
Don't get me wrong. Its not as though our primary mission in life is to get wasted and puke disgusting green and brown fluid like gunk all over the place. Its just that its strange how our drinking habits have evolved over the years.
Stage 1 (16-20) = Motto of the day was, "Quantity, not quality" . Everyday.
Stage 2 (20-23) = Mixture of Quantity and Quality. Mostly weekend binges. We'd have the odd weeknight drinking stupors.
Stage 3 (23 and above) = "Quantity" correlates directly with bank balances. Preference on Quality and crappy funny conversation.
Its a fact then. I'm getting old. Its not so bad, if you know how to enjoy it.
On a side note, we had a great view from the hotel room. We could see almost the whole city from our 17th floor window. The best part was when the fireworks started. All over the city, the skyline was erupting in multi colours. The best was the one at Sunway Pyramid. Gorgeous! Whatever was happening at other places paled in comparision. I wish i was under those fireworks with her.
