Malaysia: The wish list

Yet another post where im gonna bitch and moan about the state of my country, but all the while, still enjoying its full pleasures and benefits. Wait, what am i getting so up tight about? Don't i sound just like every other Malaysian? Yea, Malaysia Boleh!

1. Rock Concerts!
For goodsake, can we start have proper concerts by artists who arent past their prime eg Scorpions, Deep Purple? Geez, the only band of any worth that came down was Incubus. I am so privileged to say that i went for that one. What a blast! Now, if only they could bring in the likes of Pearl Jam, Radiohead, Tool, just to name a few...

2. Reasonably Priced Cars (Fuck Proton!!)
Proton. Hmph. Just another way the country fucks us in the ass and expects us to smile and say thank you. Doesnt anyone else find it insulting that the cars exported are of higher quality than the local ones? And because of Proton, every other car's prices is jacked up. *sigh* I want my Mazda 6.

3. Clubs that close at 5am
Recently, clubs in PJ have been forced to start closing at 1am. Its either that, or the clubs themselves get closed for good. KL clubs close pretty much at 3am. Sometimes, i just need more time to parade my retarded dancing skills.

4. Nationwide Recycling (and better garbage trucks)
I was quite impressed to hear that in Germany, they dont have 1 thrash can, but 3!! Each to seperate recycable products. And the garbage trucks pick it up everyday, the people dont have to go to recycling centers. Now thats what you call responsibility to the environment. Oh, and can someone please tell our damned garbage trucks to stop compressing the garbage in the middle of our streets and letting the foul smelling liquids spill out and ...well..just foul up the whole place! Frackers.

5. More Star Trek
Yes, this country needs to learn more from the likes of Picard and Spock. These enlightened heroes have much to offer this backwards thinking country. An existence where the humanity isnt driven by material wealth, but by the urge to explore, and learn..to seek out new life and new civilisations, and to boldly go where no man has gone before. Sorry, i couldnt resist.
You know, i just realised last night (wine and whisky makes me think more), that we can have about a million laws in place, but these laws will be simply words in a book unless we have a society that is willing to respects its laws. By society, i mean the public, as well as the people in governments. We're simply too backwards thinking.
