The farce that is the Malaysian Education system

Whats that your say Mr. Star newspaper? A 43% rise is straight A students. Yea. Right. Sure.

This is what our education minister had to say:

“This is a good development in education. It reflects how students now are more hardworking; and parents are prioritising their children’s education,”

What a load of flying crap. The only hardworking people were the people at the education ministry who were hard at work, rigging the results. This wont be the first time though. I know for a fact my SPM year was rigged. It was amazing, so many people for 7 A's, even the dumb ass ones. I'm not saying dumb people can't get 7 A's, im just saying its not normal for so many dumb people to get 7 A's. Like how da fuck did i get 7 A's? Sure, i did a lot of intensive studying in the last 3 months, and yea sure, i'm awesomely goodlooking...but 7 A's? No, something is just not right.

Sometimes, there are things in life that can be freaky, but can be explained as just a freaky incident, or a coincedence. For example, me. I'm just a freak of nature. No coincedence, and no evil mastermind thought me up.

But if there is a 43% in smartness of people in this country, then its so fracking obvious, that something is just not right.

Its like some wicked chain of stupidity. First, our very backwards education system produces these people that eventually go on to work in the Education Ministry. Then the people in the Education Ministry just make the education system even crappier and then try to fool us all into thinking we are getting smarter by rigging the results. Hmm... does anyone else smell rotting sea creatures?

I pity these kids, especially the ones that really worked for the 15 A's. They wont even get to do what they want. Universities will not know how to pick the good students, because there's so many of them. And then, there's that secret quota system, thats not so secret, but is still being implemented year after year after year...

Here's some interesting informaton:

In the United States, their national examination for university admission is called the SAT Test, where students will be given a score ranging from 600 to 2400 (or 400 to 1600, prior to March 2005).

Every year, fewer than 1,000 students score the perfect 2400 (or 1600) in the SAT in a pool of around 1.5 million students!

That information was obtained from a Mr.HULWAN ‘AFIF IDRIS from Kajang, who was nice enough to write to The Star opinion section.
