Humans.
Whats the future like for us? Where are we going? A hundred years from now, will we be a hundred times more advanced than we are now, or will we be all dead from disease, or worse...ourselves.
This isnt a brand spanking new concept. Everyone has heard of stories and theories like this. Think "Planet Of The Apes". Think "Matrix". I think one of the reasons these 2 movies we're so popular is that, deep down, we realise, if we continue fucking ourselves up like we have been doing...movies like these could be a glimpse into our future reality.
Its safe to say, that humans are the un-fittest animals to survive on this planet. Not only that, we plunder and pillage this earth of all its resources to indulge our selfish desires. But nature is starting to fight back.
We eat to much - Diseases are brewing in chicken farms. Not only that, remember the Mad Cow disease. Soon everything we eat will be diseased. Vegetarians are secretly jumping for joy.
We fuck to much - AIDS. Need i say more?
Bad Genes.
Why are there so many disabled people these days ?
Why are so many people being born with deformaties and diseases ?
Why are our bodies becoming more fragile ?
Is this just simply human evolution ? Physically, we are nothing like our neanderthal cousins. We are smaller and fragile, but our brains are bigger. They were the complete opposite.
However, they lived by nature's laws. Only the fittest and strongest survived and made it through. As a result, only the good genes, the strong genes was passed on. Occasionally, im sure a few freaks would be born, with bad eye sight and needing spectacles to aim his spear. But overall, they we're in prime physical health, and as a race, they were as "fit as a fiddle". Any anthropologists out there care to shed more light?
Compare this to modern humans. Nature's law doesnt apply. The fittest to the unfittest have the chance to survive. As a result, bad genes do get passed on. Multiply that by a few hundred years and almost everyone has somekinda bad gene in them. Some worst that others.
So, what am i saying, that we should go back to following Nature's laws. No. I am sitting on the fence here. I feel we are neither right nor wrong. Perhaps there is no right or wrong. It is simply human evolution. Think Steven Hawkings. He is probably one of the most brilliant minds around, but physically, he wont stand a chance against a Neanderthal baby and his pebble. His existence alone probably justifies not going back to Nature's law. But. Yes, there is another But here. But is every physically inadequate person such as Steven Hawkings as brilliant as he is? Quite honestly, no. He is a freak of our times.
Perhaps other factors have led to our physical decline. Polution is one. And we bear the sole responsibility of this. Our air is contaminated. Our food and water is filled with hundreds of artificial products. What is the long term effects of all this artifical products on our bodies?
Are we really smarter than our neanderthal cousins? If we were, wouldnt this world be much better off with us in them that our distant brute cousins? With all our so called intelligence, we still give in to our primal insticts -- to eat, to fuck, and to conquer. Everything else is secondary.
Its not as if we are NOT aware of the consequences of our actions. It is worse than that. We are COMPLETELY aware of our actions, but yet we persist in our damaging actions.
I've asked more questions than i can answer here. I think about things like this daily, and am at a loss of what i can do about it. All i know, is that if we do not colletively start doing something, we're gonna end up fucking ourselves so bad, that we can't go back.
