An idle mind is the devil's playground. Scary isnt? So scary it is to me that i decided to read more. I know, that it self is scary. Well, it wasnt all for nothing. Did discover some pretty interesting things in this round of daily online readings, like the latest intel breakthroughts, Wifi gambling and Santa's constantly moving home.
Intel breakthrough...not until 2015
Researchers at Intel and UK-based QinetiQ has developed a prototype transistor that promises to boost processing speeds at tremendously less power.
Material Class: Indium Antimonide (chem symb: InSB), III-V Compound Semiconductor
Estimated increase of proc speed: 50% of current processors
Estimated power consumption: 10% of current processors
Estimated commercial launch date: 2015

Wifi Gambling
Imagine this scenario. You're sitting in a bar in some fancy casion in Vegas. You're hungry, and can't seem to get the attention of the waitress. Frustrated, you whip out this tiny unit that the casino loans you during your time in their premises, and promptly orders a big fat ol T-Bone steak. While your at it, you sneak in a second to place a $50 bet on a poker game that youre playing wirelessly.
Pretty nifty concept eh. Gathered as much from this interesting article i read. Its appropriately named WiFi: You can bet on it
Santa's Moving to Siberia
Scientiest have discovered that the Earth's north magnetic pole is slowly drifting away from northen america and toward Siberia, in the 'Motherland'. The Americans are worried. Alaska might lose its Northen Lights and Santa might start speaking Russian.
In all seriousness, these scientists have also discovered that since its discovery almost 150++ years ago, the magnetic pole has shifted almost 685 miles!
Ok santa fans, dont worry. I was kidding, Santa wont move, because Santa would be living at the GEOGRAPHIC north pole, not the MAGNETIC north pole. Two different things. Merry Xmas!
