Battlestar Galactica

The world is an apocalypse. Humans are on the run. There are only about 50,000 of us left on colonial space ships. Most of the ships are standard non-military craft and specs. Save for one, the BattleStar Galactica.

Its an inspiring and tragic story. I've been downloading and watching up to the first 5 episodes now. Its awesome. Now i may be biased, seeing as how im a big sci-fi fan, but in all objectivity, the show really rocks. Dont believe me? Then download an episode or 2 and check it out for yourself, after all, if the enemy looks like this:

How bad can it be?

But the show is more complex than just pretty characters and amazing CG. For instance, there is the edgy tension between the President and Commander Adama. Because whats left of the human race is under the protection of BattleStar Galactica, the survival of Humanity has become a military issue, and thus the President is forced to take a back seat. Something i dont think many presidents enjoy.

Anyway, i'm really enjoying this new series. I havent even finished watching this season and now i hear season two is almost out. Check out the website at scifi.com
