Watched the show last nite with my cousin. Have to say i was scared shit. (NOTE TO SELF: Stop picturing yourself in the movies!!!) Maybe i'm becoming a chicken shit as i get older. Stop laughing you retard. Hmm, scared chicken shit i am. lol
Its worth checking out in my opinion, seeing as though how many of the other movies playing at this time have been quite dissapointing. I havent personally seen em yet, but my friends say that Unleashed, Hitchhikers guide and War of the Worlds has been dissapointing.
On a side note, as i was leaving the cinema room, i saw a poster of X-Men 3, and the posted clearly stated "MAY 2005". Hmm, did i miss something?
Anyway, the movie is supposed to be based on a true story. I did some checking, and yes, the grizzly murders did happen. Yes, the Lutz family did move into the house a year later. Yes, they did move out 28 days later.
But what you dont know is, that after the Lutz family had moved out, another family moved in (i remember reading it on a site) and stayed there for about 20 or 30 years without any reports of paranormal activity or people getting shot in head and dying. I can just hear someone saying "aiyohh.. machibai, dat means con lah the story!!!"
Looks like the story could be a con. Read more about it in the Official Amityville Murders website
