As i was starting to get up this morning:
first thing i heard - was the neighbours chatting away, about what i dont really know
first thought in my head - whats the time? Gosh i wish i could sleep somemore
first thing i did - Reached for my handphone to check the time.
second thought in my head - FUCK!!!!!! I"M LATE FOR WORK! ITS 9 fucking oclock!
Thankfully work on sunday's are quiet, otherwise i wouldnt even contemplate getting drunk the night before. But anyways, i did.
After church, me and Beez went to dinner at Restoran PJ Baru. Its a chinese restaurant, in the whats known as the 'pj state' area. We had fried rice and omelette. It was blady marvellous. Cyn and Christina went back to Christina's house to change, and have dinner. Gopi arrived about 1.5 hours late. Yes, late, not later. He bought a new car! I dont have a picture of it but it looks like car below without the frills
Anyway, we didnt take his car, as the air cond was broke, and road tax missing. We took my love mobile, and went down to party. It was 9.32pm. I remember the time because its the first time we've ever gone clubbin early. There even wasnt any jam at all, i though we were in a lame episode of the twilight zone.
The place was pretty dead, only beach club looked half packed. Poppy was so dead, from outside, i could only see about 2 girls sitting down. I was to find out later that some biatch had reserved all the tables. Luckily for us, Cyn and Christina went in first and got a table. Me, beez and gopi had gone to Beach Club first to 'top-up' on that half bottle of Bombay Sapphire i had left parked there a month ago.
Beach club is a hooker joint. Or 'Sarong Party Girl' joint. Its filled with guys, mostly Whites and Blacks, that are looking to add some local spice to their sleeping habits. Most of the girls were pretty bad, some were decent looking, but girls werent on the agenda that night, getting high was da priority.
We finished it, went over to Poppy, and met up with the girls. To my suprise, cyn's sister was there also. Anyways, the girls got a good spot, cuz there was a large screen tv very nearby, and they even showed the last 20 minutes of the Liverpool game. woohoo! got to see Biscan's winner. What a birthday!!
Did i mention that i the bottle i opened was a Jim Beam? It cost RM298, and coming to think of it, the bastards didnt give me back a receipt and my RM2 change!! Fuckers!!!! Well, we moved on to another table, nearer to the music and the dance floor. We danced, had fun, talked crap, danced and enjoyed the music. Then it came. My first ever flaming lamborghini. I think Christina bought it, or shared with someone. Can't quite remember.
Lets see, how do i describe it. Well for starters, if there's a flaming on your table, you more or less become the center of attraction, because people are amazed by drinkable liquid that is on fire. For a split second, as the flaming liquid pours down the glass, you think you are in some exotic magic show, and you are the magician. And as you consume the fire, your trick is complete!
To top it off, yoges came by at around 1am (fuck lah, most of the alcohol was almost gone by then), and bought me another flaming. What a birthday indeed. I suprised myself by not getting wasted. I thought i would, but it was ok. I could drive back safely and all. I always think about my friends when i get home, wondering if they got home safe too.
My parent were awake, and this was around 4-ish am . Then i knew what had happened. The great man has finally died. Pope John Paul II. Its so sad. But i guess what my cousin said is quite true, that God took him on a sabbath day. I hope the next Pope will be inspired to be like him.
Was searching google for a good picture of the Pope, but i especially liked this one. Shows the lighter side of the man. A man who should be remembered as the Pope of the Youth, the Pope of Peace and Justice, but ultimately, the Greatest Pope of our time.
Maybe i'm being too defensive, but i didnt like the way how CNN kept harping on how he was "contradictory". That just shows me how much this people really understand religion. Or in other words, it shows how much they DONT know about religion. The pope wasnt contradictory. He simply had very strong views on the church and the world. Quite frankly, i agree with most of them. And his views differed on the politically correct views of the modern world. Some of it were about abortion, divorce, sex and women.
The pope wasnt old-fashioned. Christianity is based upon the teachings of Christ. It is the past, the present and the future. One cannot say that he is old fashioned because he followed the teachings of Christ.
